No more than two units of Physical Education activity courses my be used to complete this requirement.

AREA F: AMERICAN INSTITUTIONS (F1-2-3)

US 1-3 American Institutions - Select a combination of courses that fulfill the requirements for US 1-3.
US 1, Historical Development of American Institutions.
US 2, Constitution of the United States and the operation of representative democratic government under the constitution.
US 3, The process of California state and local government.

For the 04-05 Academic year the course requirements are restricted to the following combinations:

POL 1 and one of HIS 109 or 110 or 111 or 112 or 113 - (US 1 & 2 & 3)
OR
HIS 111 and one of HIS 109 or 110 or 112 or 113 - (US 1 & 2 & 3)

For the 05-06 Academic Year and Beyond:
