Select one course from each category. All courses must be completed with a grade of "C" or better.

A-1: Oral Communication

A-2: Written Communication

English 101.

A-3: Critical Thinking

AREA B: PHYSICAL UNIVERSE AND ITS LIFE FORMS

Select one course from each category. One Physical or Life Science course must include a laboratory experience (underlined). Courses in area B-4 must be completed with a grade of "C" or better.

B-1: Physical Science

Chemistry 51, 65, 70, 101, 102, 211, 212; Geography 1; Geology 1, 6; Physical Science 1, 14; Physics 6, 7, 11, 12, 14, 37, 38, 39.

B-2: Life Science

Anatomy 1; Anthropology 101; Biology 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 20; Microbiology 1; Physiology 1; Psychology 2.

B-3: Laboratory Activity

Students must select at least one laboratory experience (see underlined courses in areas B-1 and B-2).

B-4: Mathematics and Quantitative Reasoning

AREA C: ARTS, LITERATURE, PHILOSOPHY AND FOREIGN LANGUAGES

Select one course from area C-1, one course from area C-2, and one additional course (different discipline) from either C-1 or C-2.
