Financial Aid for Summer Term
Aid for Summer 2008 is very limited.
Priority filing date: Friday, May 16, 2008
Final date to apply: Friday, June 20, 2008
Continuing Students
- To be considered for summer aid, you must first register in at least half time units at SJSU. (6 units for undergrad/post-baccalaureate/credential students, 4 units for graduate students)
- Once registered in the required units, come to the Financial Aid and Scholarship Office and speak with a counselor to determine your summer aid eligibility.
- Financial assistance will be based on remaining eligibility from the previous 2007-2008 academic year.

Aid Programs
- Grants – funds are limited and based on available funding resources.
- Loans - limited loan options are available to summer students, based on remaining eligibility.
- Work/Study - Summer earnings will affect your 2008-2009 budget.
