A parking permit is always required. There is no grace period.
Students are responsible for following the SJSU parking regulations at all times. Parking regulations are strictly enforced 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays.
SJSU garages typically fill before 9:00 am and do not have open spaces until noon, or later. Plan to arrive early or use the Park and Ride Lot at South Campus, where space is always available. During the first two weeks of each semester parking is very challenging. Allow extra time to park and shuttle from the Park and Ride Lot.
