An undergraduate student is placed on academic probation if the SJSU cumulative grade point average falls below a "C" average (2.0). Undergraduate students on probation must be advised before they can register for classes. Graduate students are placed on probation when their GPA falls below that required by their educational objective, or below the university minimum 3.0 "B" average.
