Entering CSU students are required to present proof of the following immunizations to the CSU campus they will be attending before the beginning of their first term of enrollment.

Measles and Rubella: All new and readmitted students must provide proof of full immunization against measles and rubella prior to enrollment. Students enrolled in a California public high school for the seventh grade or higher on or after July 1, 1999 will have satisfied this requirement. Hepatitis B: All new students who will be 18 years of age or younger at the start of their first term at a CSU campus must provide proof of full immunization against Hepatitis B before enrolling. Full immunization against Hepatitis B consists of three timed doses of vaccine over a minimum 4 to 6 months period. Risk of Meningitis: Each incoming new student who will be residing in on-campus housing will be required to return a form indicating that they have received information about meningococcal disease and the availability of the vaccine to prevent contracting the disease and indicating whether or not the student has chosen to receive the vaccination.

Conditions of Enrollment: Providing proof of the indicated immunizations (or immunity) is a condition of enrollment in the CSU. A campus is authorized to require proof of full immunization prior to enrollment without provision for conditional enrollment for certain groups who may have increased risk of exposure to these diseases. Students ought to obtain immunizations (or proof of immunization/immunity) and upload their documentation online BEFORE their first term on campus.

Students still needing immunizations once their first semester starts can contact the Student Health Center at 408-924-6122.
