Eligibility Standards for Athletes

A central clearinghouse certifies that athletes are eligible to compete on Division I intercollegiate teams. All prospective SJSU student-athletes must register with the NCAA Initial-Eligibility Clearinghouse, 2255 N. Dubuque Road, P.O. Box 4044, Iowa City, IA 52243-4044. Guidelines for athletes are listed in The NCAA Guide for the College-Bound Student-Athlete which is available by calling the NCAA at 800-638-3731.
