The Cultural Pluralism Program provides an interdisciplinary approach to the study and understanding of life in a multicultural society. The diversity of the SJSU student population and the surrounding community has increased at a rapid pace in the last decade. Because SJSU students represent the future leadership of a multicultural society, it is essential that they have the knowledge and skills necessary to interact with individuals of diverse cultures and backgrounds.
