Most of the faculty members hold doctoral degrees and many are registered professional engineers. Because of active faculty involvement in local industry, as well as state and national organizations, students receive firsthand knowledge of current developments in a great variety of engineering applications. A significant number of faculty are involved in research and consulting activities in both the private and public sectors of Silicon Valley.
