After you log into http://my.sjsu.edu and check your admission status, you may need some help interpreting the abbreviations. Here are some useful definitions and explanations.
Accepted - Classified Graduate
You have been admitted in clear standing to the university and to your Graduate Program.
-You have no conditions or outstanding documents required.
Accepted - Conditionally Classified Graduate
You have been admitted in clear standing to the university but are required to meet specific conditions outlined by your Graduate Program.
-Departmental conditions are outlined in the admission letter and are not found on-line.
-All conditions must be met, signed off by the Graduate Advisor and forwarded to Graduate Studies & Research for processing before clear standing is granted.
Accepted - Provisionally and Conditionally Classified Graduate
You have been admitted both provisionally to the university (you owe Graduate Studies & Research documents) and Conditionally by your Graduate Program.
-Check your "To Do" list in http://my.sjsu.edu for a list of documents required to clear your provisional status.
Please note - if you do not clear your provision by the date specified on your "To Do" list, your admission will be revoked and you will not be able to register for the upcoming semester.
-All conditions outlined by your Graduate Program Advisor must be met and signed off by the Graduate Advisor. This process should be finalized before submitting your completed advancement to candidacy paperwork to Graduate Studies & Research.
Accepted - Provisionally Classified Graduate
You have been admitted provisionally and owe documents to Graduate Studies & Research to complete your admission process.
-Check your “To Do” list in http://my.sjsu.edu for a complete list and instructions.
-Please note - if you do not clear your provision by the date specified on your "To Do" list, your admission will be revoked and you will not be able to register for the upcoming semester.
Accepted - Credential
You have been admitted in clear standing to the university in a Credential Program.
-Any additional requirements placed on your admission will be sent under separate cover from the Credential Program Office.
Accepted - Provisionally Admitted-Credential
You have been admitted provisionally to the university in a Credential Program and owe documents to Graduate Studies & Research to complete your admission process.
-Check your “To Do” list in http://my.sjsu.edu for a complete list and instructions. -Please note - if you do not clear your provision by the date specified on your "To Do" list, your admission will be revoked and you will not be able to register for the upcoming semester.

Your application has been loaded into the SJSU database but not yet reviewed for outstanding documents and/or fees. Please allow one to two weeks for the review to be finalized.

Complete
All outstanding documents needed to have your application evaluated for CSU eligibility have been received. Your application is currently being reviewed by Graduate Studies & Research.

Referred to Grad Department
Your application has been evaluated and determined as meeting CSU eligibility by the Office of Graduate Studies & Research Your file has been referred out to your Graduate Program for a final admissions determination.

-Please contact your Graduate Advisor or check your departments website if you have questions about the departments review process.
Accepted
You have been accepted by both Graduate Studies & Research and your department. Your file and been moved to Records for Registration eligibility.

Due to enrollment restrictions, the application has been withdrawn.

Withdrawn, No Action by Department (WDEP)
The application has been withdrawn; no decision provided by the department.
