How do you get started?...Easy!
Step 1
- Complete the online CSU admission application at www.csumentor.edu. Remember to mark the EOP box on the CSU application.
Step 2
- Visit www.sjsu.edu/eop to learn more about EOP.
- Complete the EOP application located at www.csumentor.edu.
- Submit the EOP application via CSUMentor. There is no application fee required for the EOP application. Acceptance into SJSU does not necessarily guarantee entry into EOP.
- Submit transcripts, SAT I or ACT test scores when requested on your MySJSU account.
Step 3
- The financial aid application will help determine the amount of aid you will be eligible to receive.
Step 4
- Continue to check my.sjsu.edu for updates on your application, important messages, and requests for documents.

- All EOP applicants must apply for financial aid by completing the FAFSA form.
Remember to keep a copy of every form you submit! Quickly respond to correspondence from all three application processes so that you can receive the full range of services.
