The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) is designed to assist students who are historically disadvantaged because of their economic and educational backgrounds. EOP serves California residents who meet stated admissions requirements, as well as those who may not qualify for regular admission but who demonstrate potential to succeed at the university level. EOP applicants must meet low-income guidelines and must show need of financial and academic assistance.
