Step 1. Meet the Course Requirements
Before you do anything else, make sure you've taken the right courses.
- Freshman: For a complete list of approved courses for all California high schools, go to www.ucop.edu/doorways
- Transfers from California colleges and universities should consult the SJSU transfer planning site at http://transfer.sjsu.edu for the latest transfer planning guides for SJSU majors, general education plans and course-to-course agreements. Transfers must declare a major at the time of application.
- Graduate Students: Review the requirements and deadlines at www.sjsu.edu/gape.

Make www.sjsu.edu/visit/ your first connection to SJSU. Log on and create your own VIP page for access to
- Invitations to SJSU events and activities
- Tours of the SJSU campus
Step 3. Apply Online Thursday, October 1 - Monday, November 30, 2009
The way to apply to SJSU is online at www.csumentor.edu. SJSU is impacted for undergraduate applicants and will close at the end of the application period. Late applications will not be accepted.
Step 4. You are Responsible for Complete and Accurate Information
You are responsible for providing complete, accurate and timely information. If you allow a parent, guardian, family member or other person to fill out the application, you are still accountable and responsible for meeting all requests for information and associated deadlines.
