Students in this major must complete all lower division courses in the Requirements of the Major with a "C- or better" to graduate.

Prerequisite Requirements

Any course that is prerequisite to any Chemistry Course must be passed with a grade of "C or better" (C- not accepted) for a student to be eligible to enroll in Chemistry course. The only exceptions are Chemistry courses that list "Instructor Consent" as a prerequisite. Refer to the SJSU Course Catalog for specific information regarding course prerequisites.
