STAT 095

Elementary Statistics

Description
Organization and classification of data, graphic representation, measures of central tendency and variability, percentiles, normal curve, standard scores, correlation and regression, and introduction to statistical inference; use of microcomputers for statistical calculations. Prerequisite: Satisfaction of ELM requirement and two years of high school algebra. Notes: Intended for majors in education, nursing, personnel administration, psychology, social service and sociology, and psychology minors.
