Sociology of Masculinities and Femininities

Description
Examination and analysis of social construction of gender through interaction and social institutions. Explores gender-based identities and how intersections of gender, race, class, and sexuality shape men's and women's experiences. Examines theories of gender and gender-based social movements. Prerequisite: SOCI 001.
