Magnetism and Superconductivity

Description
Fundamental properties of magnetic and superconducting materials and devices and their applications. Topics include magnetic anisotropy, magnetic domains, magnetization dynamics, conventional and unconventional superconductivity, magnetic properties of superconductors, Josephson effects, and SQUID. Prerequisites: PHYS 210, PHYS 263A, or Instructor Consent Misc/Lab: Lecture 2 hours/lab 3 hours.
