Introduction to Electro-Optics

Description
This course introduces the physical principles of electro-optics including modulators (electro- and acousto-optic), non-linear optics, semiconductor lasers, optical detection and integrated optics with applications. Prerequisite: PHYS 168 (or equivalent) or instructor consent.
