Cultural Diversity in Occupational Therapy

Description
Roles of occupational therapist treating diverse populations is examined through exploration of professional culture, the cultures of poverty and disability, and cultures identified by ethnicity or lifestyle. Cultural variables include time, space, relationships, value, beliefs, communication, socioeconomics, gender and tradition. Prerequisite: OCTH 201A.
