Description
Focuses on a beginning understanding of the School of Nursing conceptual framework (systems theory), the roles of the professional nurse, code of ethics for nurses and communication.
Prerequisite: Admission to Semester 3, BIOL 65, BIOL 66, CHEM 30A, CHEM 30B, MICR 20, ENGL IA, ENGL 1B, COMM 20, PSYC 1, HUP 67, NUFS 8, (all with grades of "C" or better).
Corequisite: Enrollment in NURS 23, NURS 43 and NURS 53; completion of Core GE, satisfaction of the Writing Skills Test.
