Studies of the physiology of microbes specifically focusing on bacteria (growth, metabolism and regulation of gene expression); growth experiments and mutagenesis techniques. Prerequisite: MICR 101 (with grade of "C" or better). CHEM 135. Pre/Corequisite: BIOL 6.
