Morphology, physiology, genetics and diversity of bacteria; their control by chemical and physical means; and their role in disease. For majors in allied health professions. Prerequisite: CHEM 1B, or CHEM 30A. Misc/Lab: Lecture 4 hours/lab 3 hours. Notes: Not an elective in the department majors.
