Theory and practice of experimental methods and sensors for mechanical measurements; statistical and uncertainty analysis; computer-hosted data acquisition, processing and analysis; formal report writing and presentations. Prerequisite: ME 111, CE 112, ENGR 100W, ME 130 (with a grade of 'C-' or better in each). AE majors may substitute AE 162 and AE 168 (with a grade of 'C-' or better in each) for ME 130. Junior and senior only. Allowed Declared Majors: Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. Misc/Lab: Lecture 1 hour/lab 3 hours.
