Sampling distributions, confidence intervals, order statistics, sufficient statistics, the Rao-Blackwell Theorem, completeness, uniqueness, point estimation, maximum likelihood, Bayes' methods, testing hypotheses, likelihood ratio tests, categorical data analysis, nonparametric tests. Prerequisite: MATH 163 (with a grade of "C-" or better) or instructor consent.
