Emphasis on reporting--gathering/verifying facts for news stories through observation, interviewing, attending press conferences/meetings, and using public record, electronic databases and the Internet/library. Writing enterpriser, trend, feature, profile and investigative stories.
Prerequisite: JOUR 061 or instructor consent.
