Description
Decision models for the planning and management of natural and industrial resources to achieve economic, environmental and social objectives in enterprises (businesses, city governments). Trade-offs involved in making decisions addressing the triple-bottom-line. Role of government regulations and incentives. Consideration of life cycle impacts. Applications of quantitative analysis, mathematical optimization, scenario planning and risk management. Interdisciplinary case studies and projects related to sustainable development. Prerequisite: Graduate Standing
