Advanced Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology

Description
Igneous and metamorphic processes and the evolution of the lithosphere. Application of field, petrographic and chemical data to models of petrogenesis. Laboratory emphasizes microscope studies and computer modeling. Prerequisite: GEOL 121 (or equivalent). Misc/Lab: Lecture 3 hours/lab 3 hours; field trips.
