Introduction to Mapping and Geographic Information Systems

Description
Foundations of the mapping sciences and geographic information systems. Basics of earth measurement, location and mapping. Thematic map display and analysis. Application through a variety of laboratory experiences. Prerequisite: Geog 1 or instructor consent. Misc/Lab: Lecture 2 hours/lab 3 hours.
