Derivative Securities

Description
Analysis of speculative markets and their role in the economy in evaluating information, providing forecasts and allowing the shifting of risk. Among markets considered are those for commodities, options (puts and calls) and interest rate and stock indices. Prerequisite: ECON 137B or instructor consent. Notes: Not offered on a regular basis.
