Description
Introduction to kinematics, dynamics and control of robot manipulators. Forward and inverse kinematics of serial chain manipulators. Jacobian, force relations, dynamics, position and force controls. Hardware architecture for robotic control. Individual laboratory projects.
Prerequisite: CMPE 130 (with grade of "C" or better) and MATH 129A.
Misc/Lab: Lecture 2 hours/lab 3 hours.
