Ecological Sampling Design and Analyses

Sampling design and statistical analysis of biological patterns. In this course, students design and execute a field experiment (one required weekend field trip) that incorporates multivariate measurements. Students analyze the data with Log Linear analysis, Logistic Regression, Principal Components Analysis, Canonical Correlation and various Regression techniques. Prerequisite: BIOL 113 or 114 with a grade of "C" or better, or instructor consent. Allowed Declared Majors: Biology, Business, Environmental Studies. Math Remediation Completed Misc/Lab: Lecture 2 hours/lab 3 hours.
