Description
Emphasis on basic principles of toxicology. Toxicity of several classes of compounds covered in depth. Focus on basic chemical principles and appropriate applications.
Prerequisite: BIOL 3 (with grade of "C" or better), organic chemistry, and an upper division physiology course (BIOL 124 or BIOL 177) or Molecular Biology (BIOL 135) or instructor consent.
