Foundations of Biodiversity

Description
The diversity of life and the mechanisms by which that diversity has arisen. Concepts include: scientific method, origins of life, adaptation of organisms to different environments and biotic interactions, comparative development of both plants and animals. Prerequisite: Satisfaction of the EPT and the ELM requirement. Must be majoring in Biology (all), Biomed Eng, Biochemistry, ENVS (all), Forensic Science (all), Nutritional Science, Meterology-CS, Kinesiology, Computer Science and Communicative Disorders. Corequisite: ENGL 1A, CHEM 1A Lecture 3 hours/lab 5 hours
